Services - Price Plan
GENERAL
Prices for access to GPRD data and services are dependent upon customer needs. Our range of services cover:
- direct on-line web access
- provision of datasets for a single study
- fully commissioned studies carried out by our own Research Services Team
Our in-house team also produce simple analyses tables at very little cost.
ON-LINE ACCESS - £30,000 - £325,000 / Year
On-Line access to the GPRD is provided at many different levels (see Services And Products). Access starts at Level 3 for the core data and progresses through additional data modules to full access called Level 4. To decide the level of access that your organisation requires, we advise you to talk to us about the potential usage of the data, areas of interest and volume of work. We will then advise you on the best service to meet your needs.
DATASETS - £8,000 - £65,000
Datasets are provided for ad-hoc research needs, covering a single study question (see Datasets). If you require a dataset from the GPRD please speak to our team to agree data fields required, number of subjects required, cases and controls, data structure and format issues. Price will be dependent upon the volume and range of data provided.
COMMISSIONED STUDIES - £30,000 - £250,000
Our Research Services Team are available to take on your research question for you. This team includes doctors, epidemiologists, biostatisticians and IT staff. We will provide a full service through protocol development, study design and deliver a report at the end. We will also submit for publication in a high quality journal (see Consulting). Charges for these services will comprise of two elements, a data charge and a service charge. The overall fee will be dependent on the volume and range of data required, timeframes and the complexity of the research question.

- Free Text Anonymisation - £500 - £5,000 (approximately)
