Total number of research usable patients in FF-GPRD by follow-up time in years

Description: Count of total research usable patients in FF-GPRD stratified by "Up-To-Standard" follow-up time

This report provides the frequency distribution of patients based on their length of follow-up time. The purpose of this report is to provide users of the database with an indication of the person-time available in FF-GPRD for cohort studies, estimates of incidence, etc.

The start date of duration of follow-up (person-time) is taken as the latest of the patient registration date and the practice 'Up-To-Standard' date. The end date of duration of follow-up is taken as the earliest of the patient transfer out date (if applicable) and the practice last collection date.

Data presented relates to 'Acceptable' patients from 'Up-To-Standard' practices only.
