Number of currently registered patients in FF-GPRD in 10-year age bands by gender

Description: Count of currently registered patients held in FF-GPRD stratified by age group and gender

This report provides an estimate of the number of patients currently registered in FF-GPRD, and their distribution by gender and 10 years age-bands at the current time. The purpose of this report is to provide researchers with an overall description of the patient population in FF-GPRD and a means of evaluating the representativeness of FF-GPRD data with respect to the UK population, as described in National Statistics.

Currently registered patients are those registered at up-to-standard practices contributing to GPRD and loaded into the Data Warehouse at the report run date.

Data presented relates to 'Acceptable' patients from 'Up-To-Standard' practices only.
