Distribution of patients and practices in FF-GPRD by health region

Description: Count of currently registered patients, total research usable patients (up to and including 2008) and current practices, stratified by health region

This report provides the frequency distribution of patients and contributing practices, by National Health Service (NHS) region. The purpose of this report is to provide researchers with information on the geographic distribution of data held in GPRD.

Currently registered patients are those registered at up-to-standard practices contributing to GPRD and loaded into the Data Warehouse at the report run date. Total Research Usable Patients include those that may have died or left the practice at the report run date.

Data presented relates to 'Acceptable' patients from 'Up-To-Standard' practices only.
